Bethany Bobbs is an accomplished cellist currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree at The Juilliard School under the mentorship of Joel Krosnick and Astrid Schween, supported by the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship. During her summers, Bethany has enriched her musical education by participating in numerous renowned summer music festivals, including the Perlman Music Program, Taos School of Music, YellowBarn, Heifetz International Music Institute, and Toronto Summer Music Chamber Music Institute. Throughout her career, Bethany has garnered numerous accolades and prizes in prestigious competitions, including the Lynn Harrell Concerto Competition, Houston Symphony League Concerto Competition, and Adelphi Orchestra Young Artists Competition, to name a few. Her talent has led her to solo performances with esteemed orchestras such as the Houston Symphony, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Adelphi Orchestra, Newark Symphony, and Missouri Symphony Orchestra, among many others. As a passionate chamber musician, Bethany has collaborated with numerous esteemed artists, including Yura Lee, Desmond Hoebig, Paul Neubauer, Barry Shiffman, Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, Stella Chen, and many others. Besides performing, Bethany has been recognized by The Strad and The ViolinChannel for using her musical talent to help others. In 2020, Bethany and her twin sister, Susanna, founded a non-profit organization known as Harmony for Healing which has provided financial aid to unemployed artists struggling during COVID-19 and Ukrainian refugees in need of medical supplies and humanitarian aid.
